1. Eligibility

Merchants must:

• Have an active Shopify store
• Maintain compliance with Shopify's Terms of Service
• Provide accurate business, payment, and contact information

2. Service Usage

• ReferUp provides tools to run referral and affiliate campaigns where referrers earn rewards and referred customers receive discounts
• Merchants are solely responsible for configuring reward percentages, payout methods, and monitoring fraudulent activities on their store

3. Payment and Fees

• ReferUp may charge subscription or usage fees as displayed on your billing plan
• Fees are subject to change with prior notice
• Payments are processed securely via Shopify's billing system

4. Termination and Suspension

ReferUp reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate a merchant's account for any misuse, policy violation, or fraudulent activity
• Revoke access in case of payment failure or violation of Shopify's acceptable use policy
• Cancel or modify the service at any time with reasonable notice

5. Data and Privacy

• Merchants agree to allow ReferUp to access limited store data (such as orders, products, and customers) to run the referral program
• ReferUp will not sell or misuse merchant or customer data
• All data is handled according to our Privacy Policy

6. Liability

• ReferUp is not liable for losses arising from incorrect setup, reward miscalculations, or disputes between merchants and customers
• The merchant is responsible for ensuring that all referral rewards comply with their local tax and business regulations

7. Intellectual Property

• The ReferUp name, logo, and platform are owned by ReferUp
• Merchants are granted a limited license to use the service during their active subscription period

• Participants must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• Referrers must share referral links ethically and honestly

2. Fair Usage

Users agree not to:

• Create fake accounts or multiple self-referrals
• Use automated systems or scripts to generate referrals
• Share misleading or deceptive promotional messages about a merchant

3. Rewards and Redemptions

• Rewards are issued only when referred customers make valid and completed purchases
• Canceled, refunded, or fraudulent orders will not qualify for rewards
• Rewards are managed by the respective merchant via the ReferUp platform
• ReferUp does not guarantee reward amounts, as these are defined by the merchant

4. Fraud and Abuse

• Any foul play, cheating, or manipulation of the referral system may result in immediate disqualification and loss of rewards
• ReferUp and the merchant reserve the right to investigate and take necessary action against fraudulent users

5. Data Collection

• By participating, you agree that ReferUp may store basic information (such as your name, email, and referral code) for tracking rewards
• Your data is not sold or shared with third parties

6. Liability Disclaimer

• ReferUp is not responsible for unfulfilled rewards or disputes between users and merchants
• The merchant is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate distribution of rewards
